Friday Writings - Doors pt 5
I have to confess I haven’t made much progress on my current script in the last few weeks. Last week I had to do a few re-writes on a production we’re pitching, and this week I spent the entire morning writing proposals for my video production business. I can’t help but think that in both cases I’m really just making excuses for the fact that I’ve stalled out and I’ve spent the last two weeks waffling about what to do next. So if anyone wants to grab coffee with me and troubleshoot my story, I’d be happy for the extra brain.
But in the meantime, we’ve got more Doors (the advantage of sharing a past script is, even on days I’m not making progress on my current script I still have something to send out :) This week Emma and Trevor have their date… but this is a drama, which means it won’t be nearly as straight forward as either of them might hope.
Wouldn’t it be nice if things were just straight forward. How many times do misunderstandings and miscommunications get in the way of a good thing. Come back next week to see if Emma and Trevor can find a way to get back on the same page.
